Buffalo Bills vs Detroit Lions

It seems like these two teams are heading in opposite directions. The Bills had shown immense improvement last term when they reached the AFC title game, whereas Lions again found themselves out of the playoffs picture.
The Detroit Lions are not a very good team. Last season, they finished with a 5-11 record in the regular season. They have conceded a total of 519 points in 16 games – more than any other team in the NFL.
Their defence was horrendous, but their offence wasn’t too bad. However, that’s mostly thanks to quarterback Matt Stafford, who has since departed to California. One of Detroit’s best-ever QBs is now playing for the LA Rams.
What this means is that the Lions are going to be even worse in the upcoming season. They will also probably do very poorly in the preseason, especially in the first game when they face one of the Super Bowl dark horses, the Buffalo Bills.
Prediction: Buffalo Bills to win – 2.05 at Intertops, Boyle
Tennessee Titans vs Atlanta Falcons

Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia
Weather: Mostly cloudy, 29°C
If you thought you’re going to see Julio Jones playing against his former team, we’re sorry to disappoint you – it’s not happening this evening!
One of the NFL’s best wide receivers is expected to miss out on the entire preseason action of his new team. Still, even without him on the roster, the Titans are still much stronger than the Falcons.
Plus, they got plenty of players who want to showcase their talent ahead of the start of the new NFL season. What this means is that they’re going to be very motivated against Atlanta.
Expect Titans to deliver tonight and help Arthur Smith to a victory in his debut as a head coach of an NFL team. He has previously served as an offensive coordinator at Tennessee; albeit has served many assistant roles since 2011.
Prediction: Tennessee Titans to win – 2.04 at SBO, 2.00 at Intertops, Bet365, WH
Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals
When: Friday, August 13 – 19:00 MST
Where: State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
Weather: Partly cloudy, 36°C
Dallas’ best player, quarterback Dak Prescott will miss another game. The man whose 2020 campaign ended in Week 5 with an ankle injury is now struggling with his shoulder. The good news for the Cowboys is that he will probably be fit for the start of the 2021 NFL season.
He’s already missed one – the 2021 Hall of Fame Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which his team ended up losing. Without Dak to lead the offence, the Cowboys scored only three points in that game.
Something similar will probably happen against Arizona as well, a team that might have an even better defence than Pittsburg. Proof of this is that Dallas failed to score over 20 points in each of the previous seven duels with Arizona.
Apart from being better in the defence, the Cardinals also look superior in the offence. As suggested by coach Kliff Kingsbury, all of Arizona’s starters should feature in tonight’s game, including their key player, quarterback Kyler Murray.
It’s only natural to expect the Arizona Cardinals to get a big win tonight!
