Sacramento Kings v Houston Rockets – NBA Betting Preview
Sacramento Kings will face off against Houston Rockets tonight at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento in hopes to start off their season with a win. But it obviously won’t be easy. Houston Rockets have already started the season with a win against Golden State Warriors (121:122). It was not only their first match won, and a game they won despite trailing by double digits, but it was against one of the best teams in the NBA at the moment. Well on the paper they were THE BEST last year. Anyhow, on back of a game like that, we can expect they won’t struggle a lot against the likes of Sacramento, who is not nearly as good as GSW. I expect Rockets to continue in a winning fashion, as they do have the right players to once again appear in the Play-offs and go even further.
Sacramento Kings managed to trade away DeMarcus Cousins to Pelicans in exchange for Buddy Hield and additional players + picks. It does not seem as a great trade, but it actually is, because it will help in their rebuilding process they need. In the offseason, Kings said goodbye to Anthony Tolliver, Arron Afflalo, Tyreke Evans, Ben McLemore and Ty Lawson. The biggest addition to their team is surely De’Aaron Fox, in addition, they also drafted Justin Jackson and Harry Giles in the 1st round of the draft. Kings are making good decisions, signing new young players who will develop under the guidance of veterans. The rebuilding process could result in great things, but it will of course take time. As for now they simply are not up to par, especially when they go against teams like Houston Rockets, who outclass them by a mile.
Verdict & Prediction
There is simply not much to say. As of now, Rockets are superior to Sacramento Kings. J. Harden and C. Paul showed they can work well together, as they seemingly found a chemistry. With 2 starts like that working together on the court you can expect great results. Expect Houston Rockets to get another win to their record tonight with at least 8 points to spare.
Prediction: Houston Rockets -8.00 points
