During the last month, we were quite busy with our own betting so there were not a lot of time to post free stuff on this website. Anyway, we will be more active in the upcoming month, and we will begin with the prediction for the match between Valencia and Real Madrid. If you are interested in the winter sports, check back later as we will post one or two free race previews for the alpine skiing.
Valencia managed to squeeze through the cup match midweek and so the semi-final next week could lead to the likes of Zaza resting to the bench as he is not 100% and struggles with the quick turnaround of matches. Gabriel Paulista and Ruben Vezo are both banned, forcing Coquelin as an emergency centre-back. Parejo and Jose Gaya return while Carlos Soler remains sidelined. Valencia +1.00 at their best could make Real Madrid really suffer here, though at the same time the visitors have it in them to win if they play at their best. Even with Valencia concerns on team news, for Madrid to win by 2 goals is a huge ask for a side struggling and showing negative body language, which could suit Valencia, who are backed by a very hostile and noisy home crowd. The over 3.5 line may depend on Valencia having the desire to be very attacking and take the game to Real Madrid, who in turn look a much more potent team with spaces to attack. Goals would really need a relatively early goal either way as it then forces the play to open up and not get into a tense and aggressive battle. Valencia would love to score first and then play only on breaks.
Real Madrid remain without Sergio Ramos who like Isco, fell to the last minute injury before they made the trip to Valencia. This means Nacho sticks in the defense while they will be without the imagination and craft of Isco from the bench because he wasn’t tipped to hold down starting role here even had he been fit and available. Real Madrid are in woeful mood and form but give away a full goal start to a Valencia team although struggling of late, are still very strong at home. Madrid need to improve in many aspects to get any kind of victory in Valencia, let alone by a 2 goal margin to gain a full win for their backers. Over 3.5 goals is an understandably high line considering the quality in both teams, but Real Madrid would take any kind of win from this and would sit on a lead. They are likely to be fairly reactive and defensive considering how low on the confidence they are here. Rock bottom by their normal standards, it has been a traumatic midweek that saw them knocked out of the cup by Leganes at home. The fans are angry and there is real pressure on Zidane. They are now playing for 2nd place and Valencia are one of the teams above them, making it a very important game. Madrid will also be well motivated to bounce back after the loss to Leganes at home in the cup.
Verdict & Prediction
Valencia will be very well motivated and come out with a super high intensity in front of their noisy home fans. They will be reasonably attacking early but not want to take a risks and concede first. As the game settles they’ll want to be well balanced, would sit back and counter if score first. Morale and confidence is very good after progressing into the semi-final of the cup midweek when knocking out Alaves on penalties. Even still, this is the big game for the fans and the players. Their target this season is to stay in the top four and make Champions League next season. Valencia will definitely be eyeing victory here to continue Madrid’s nightmare season. The home side may also be content to come away with one point, not least because Real Madrid’s slump this season means Valencia are sitting above them in a highly respectable 3rd spot.
